Dr. Snyder is a graduate of Temple University and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his Pediatrics training at PCOM and neonatal fellowship training at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.  Prior to joining the staff at Abington, Dr. Snyder served as Chairman of Pediatrics at PCOM.  Dr. Snyder has had extensive experience in Neonatology which includes serving as Medical Director for Neonatology at Doylestown Hospital until 2007.  He currently is a representative on the US Breastfeeding Committee, and has received an Innovator's Circle Grant for research.

Dr. Snyder has a special interest in medical informatics and currently is Director of Neonatal Health Information Technology at Abington Memorial Hospital.
